About our speaker:

Dr. Karen Altekruse is a leadership and organization development (OD) expert who has held senior leadership positions in nationally recognized healthcare, professional services, and academic organizations. In addition to providing OD interventions, she has designed and scaled leadership development, team building, change management, coaching, and succession planning programs. Karen has also redesigned and led the employee engagement, learning & development, performance management and onboarding functions. Recognizing that not all businesses have the resources needed to design, develop & deliver internal leadership & OD programs, Karen has returned to private practice to help small & mid-size businesses succeed in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent. In 2023, a cohort-based leadership development program was piloted with a Wisconsin manufacturer. With the success of the pilot, Karen is offering this cohort-based leadership development & other programs to businesses and organizations. While the fundamental elements of Leadership Development and OD remain the same, Karen customizes program content and interventions to meet the client’s specific needs.
