President

Jen Farley, ACC is a Professional Life Coach, Performer, Speaker and a friend.  As a Rockstar Life Coach, Jen wants to help dreamers and seekers find and define their authentic voice to become the Rockstar in their lives.  She has created Coach Jen Farley, a life coaching company, which hosts one on one, group coaching and live guest discussions on how you can ignite the light within you. Jen earned her Professional Life Coaching Certificate from UW-Madison and Career Coach Certification (CPCC) with the the Professional Resume Writers and Career Coach Association.. She is also a member of the power-trio, Gin, Chocolate and Bottle Rockets, performing all over Wisconsin for the past seven years. The group has also created motivational speaking presentations while blending three-part harmonies with original music.

President Elect

Jay Winston is a people-first and data-informed scholar-practitioner, coach, consultant, and
masterful facilitator. As the Founder & Managing Principal of J. Winston Coaching &
Consulting LLC, Jay embodies a strong passion for holistic development of individuals, teams,
and organizations that prioritize inclusion, well-being, and drive performance. Her primary
engagement has been in healthcare, education, and government, where she works as an
organizational leader and educator.

Jay has excelled throughout her career in her primary appointments of strategizing,
designing, delivering, and evaluating organizational initiatives that drive talent
development, increase leadership capabilities, develop healthy cultures, and accelerate
organizational success. Jay understands more than ever, in our fast-paced world, it's time to
rethink how we lead. The future of leadership and coaching is all about putting people first
and Leading with Humanity.

In addition to being a solopreneur, Jay is a public servant for the City of Madison Human
Resources Organizational Development Division as the Leadership Development Specialist.
In this capacity, Jay works with key stakeholders to increase organizational health and
effectiveness. Her goal is to provide support to 32 agencies and over 3000 staff in
developing a healthy, high-performing, self-renewing organization that leads and manages
change.


Treasurer

Emily Roberts is a heart-centered coach, helping guide women to their truest self, through the windows of their inner knowing, body messages, and heart wisdom. Her clients dismantle limiting beliefs and lean vulnerably, yet courageously into fully loving and embracing themselves as the amazing women they are! From that place of empowerment, they claim their future path in life with confidence, clarity, and heart.  In addition to coaching, Emily is a Clinical Acupressure practitioner and a Reiki master and practices out of Poynette, WI.  She started volunteering on the ICF-WI Education Committee in July 2020 and has loved being a part of the coaching community!

Secretary

Nancy Kalsow, is a joyful leader who believes everyone deserves someone in their corner. With 30+ years of leadership experience in the financial industry, Nancy witnessed the power of personal growth as the catalyst for professional success. As a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and a SHRM-Senior Certified Human Resources Professional, Nancy launched Kalsow Coaching & Consulting, LLC in 2019 to honor individual uniqueness and nurture team greatness. As an author, speaker, coach, and consultant, Nancy utilizes her proprietary R.E.A.L. Framework™ as the backdrop for personal growth, team development and authentic leadership. Nancy is married, with two adult sons and enjoys spending Mondays with her two grandchildren. She’s adamant that “Who you are is more important than any role you play, rule you break, responsibility you have or reality you face.”

Membership Chair

Heidi Matera
is an ACC-certified professional coach and administrative leader passionate about supporting high achievers to rebalance their 'doing' energy with more conscious ways of 'being'. Her philosophy and approach have a theoretical and experiential foundation in personal development, energy leadership (IPEC), intercultural studies, and diverse spiritual practices. Heidi also coordinates the Milwaukee area's in-person Coach Connections.



Professional Development Co Chair

Laura Roeven has a deep passion for effecting meaningful change in the lives of others.  She is a PCC credential holder, a trained Relationship Coaching Specialist (RCS) thru the Institute for Life Coach Training, and holds a Conscious Business Coach certificate through BetterUp Coaching.  Her coaching is informed by years of mindfulness training and is thankful to keep learning via the Wisconsin ICF educational events. Laura is proud to be the executive director of Eyes of Hope, Stoughton, Inc. which supports youth programs in Stoughton by amplifying their voices for her community and beyond. It is in working with youth that she feels most inspired for our planet’s future and resilience.  Play time includes camping, poetry, and savory cooking with her husband and 3 grown children.

Professional Development Co Chair

Rev. Tom Smith blends his corporate expertise and ministry background to help clients overcome anxiety, build confidence, and enhance happiness. Drawing on neuroscience and Christian faith, he creates a trusting, transformative coaching environment. Having personally conquered social anxiety, Tom shares openly: “Anxious thoughts no longer hold me back from living my values.”

With a diverse career spanning fire protection engineering, commercial lines insurance leadership, ordained ministry, certified brain science coach and professionally certified life coaching, Tom brings a unique, holistic perspective. He serves on the professional development team for the Wisconsin chapter of the International Coaching Federation and coaches for various organizations, including the ELCA.

In 2022, Tom founded Ridgeview Coaching (ridgeviewcoaching.org) to fulfill his passion for empowering personal and professional growth in others. Outside of coaching, he enjoys RVing with his family and writing a science fiction novel about hope and resilience.

Partnerships Chair

Matt Ley has been a certified ICF coach for three years and sees this as a continuation of the work he has been doing throughout is circuitous career. He has spent time as a software engineer, communications officer for Lutheran Disaster Response, supporting social justice work in Israel-Palestine, as a pastor, managing supply chain and operations for a global medical supply company, and most recently as a consultant helping growing organizations manage change. Through it all the same desire to be present with people and lead with curiosity as he partners with them to identify and take action on their goals has been his greatest joy. He is also the author of the book “Manage Your Gaps: Reclaiming the Awesomeness of Management”. If he’s not consulting or coaching, you can find him deep in thought listening to a book on a bike packing trip or annoying his three kids with all of those curiosity-borne questions.

Janet Phipps, MBA, ACC is the owner of NorthStar Mindset Coaching, LLC, specializing in holistic Presence-Based® Coaching and mindset transformation across family, work, and community.  With 30 years of experience leading programs in financial services, real estate, and organizational change, she has coached business leaders and executives throughout her career and now empowers clients to grow with clarity, presence, and purpose.  A former President of Minneapolis Women’s Rotary, Janet is eager to bring her passion for holistic leadership development to ICF Wisconsin as Member at Large.

Member At Large

Lisa Linscheid Hebgen, Ph.D., brings over two decades of experience in education to her work as a leader, coach, and advocate for student and educator success. She earned her Ph.D. in Professional Studies from Capella University, holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Edgewood College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education.

Lisa began her career as a high school special education teacher and later transitioned into leadership roles within the Wisconsin Technical College System, including serving as Associate Vice President for Student Success. For over ten years, she has been part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison community, where she initially supported K–12 educators through professional learning initiatives. She now serves as Director of the Master of Science for Professional Educators (MSPE) program.

In addition to her academic leadership, Lisa is a certified Instructional Coach and holds an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is passionate about empowering educators and helping them strengthen their practice to better support students.
